As I am sure is painfully obvious, I am not a writer. Not even close. I sometimes sit down to blog with no idea what I will be talking about, just type the first thing that pops in to my head and see where that leads me. This post is a perfect example of my "Eh, we'll see what happens" blogging style.
If you know me in real life or have friended me on Facebook, you know that I am opinionated, loud, often crass, I don't quickly back down - and I never forget. Ever.
As I mentioned before, I started this blog almost nine years ago. We lived in Detroit and our family didn't, so I thought blogging would be a great way for them to see what we were up to. As it turns out, none of our family has ever paid much attention to the blog, and that is probably a good thing.
All this to say - thanks for hanging in there with me. I know I can be pretty boring at (most) times, and I appreciate knowing that people out there are reading - even if you don't comment. :-D
